need help installing AMD 64 x2 3800

I have a socket 939 AMD 64 3000 in my PC right now. I bought an OEM AMD X2 3800 socket 939 from tigerdirect.

do I simply replace the cpu? do I need special glue or something? I am gonna use the existing fan that came with my previous CPU. I read that this was fine to do.

Yap, just replace the old CPU it with the x2.
