I have a Fatility x99 mobo. Everything works fine, I can get into bios, load windows 7, but once I get to the desktop for the first time, the system reboots and after bios it just reboots again, I think it's a EUFI setting or something like that but I've cleared cmos and changed any setting that looked like it needed changed...What am I missing here? I've tried different SSD HD's to see if that was the problem...

Hold down the F8 key right before you see the Windows load screen and see if you can get into safe mode. What is you hard drive (SSD) configuration like? What do your temperatures in the BIOS look like?

UEFI won't affect you when you get past bootloader. If you had problems with booting up after BIOS/UEFI messages, then it would be that...

I had one 512gb Samsung 830 SSD
and now I've tried it with a old Kingston 40gb
Same thing, loads w7 no issues, as soon as it reboots it gets past bios and then reboots again, before accepting the f8 key.
But it will boot right off the CD and let me reinstall the OS again if I wanted (have done 3 times now)

Hmm, 3 times. Same SATA cable? You might want to start be eliminating unnecessary hardware (inside and outside).

it's not hardware related though.

I just installed w8 with no issues, LOL...It loaded and now is booting to w8 just fine...WTH
