need help install cdrom drivers onto a laptop

i have an ibm thinkpad 760el and woould like to install windows 98se on it but i cant seem to install the cdrom drivers

i have the cdrom drivers from IBM but i just cant seem to work the mscdex...
i dont know what im doing wring

can someone point in the right direction..thanks!
