Need help in setup a windows based diskless thin client

Hi, comrades -

Need help from you experienced networkers - in setup a windows based diskless thin client.
Server solution is flexible - as long as it works, NT4, Win2k
To my understanding, the only viable solution to a true harddiskless thin client running windows
based apps, is using Citrix MetaFrame/WinFrame stuff. Here comes the question:

1. the DOS16/32 Citrix ICA client weights > 4MB, how can it fits on a single floppy? even double-density
won't do...

2. if there is another true diskless solution running on GENERIC x86 hardware - means no specialized
H/w with large NVRAM or CF or other goofballs - please let me know...

Any other thoughts, ideas and suggestions and sparkle of invention are welcome.

I don't think there is true diskless operation for Windows solution. The smallest I have seen is floppy 2 disks for Windows. The best thing you can do is to purchase $200.00 (have seen them on sale for $99.00) systems that have 16~128megs Disk-on-chip (solidstate mem), and burn a disk image on to them for the thin client, other wise live with a multiple boot disk, cdrom or hdd.

You can save thousands of $$$ per station by making your own thin client station for Win/Linux/Unix, instead of prefab brandname Citrix or the alike solution. My previous employer spend $5000.00 CAD per Citrix thin Client (over 30 stations), which I could built for $500.00 CAD each in Windows solution, or $300.00 CAD for Linux solution.
