Need help in purchasing a good laptop for college

Hey guys I posted on these fourms a while back when i was purchasing my desktop and the ppl here were extremely helpful in showing me what was good for the money. Im not very knowledgable abt this stuff, but i kno u guys are, so i need some help agian. Im trying to put together a good laptop for use in college, basically for use with word, excell, obviously apps that run through the internet for taking quizzes and stuff. Nothing to fancy, but something that will work for abt 600-700 max. I need to buy it ASAP so i was wondering if anyone knew of a build that fits the criteria that i could purchase rite away, or could tell me what i should look for in my price range.

If you can wait a couple weeks, wait and see if you can get a good deal on Black Friday. Might even be able to get a nice core duo laptop in your price range.

You can also check out FS/FT. I picked up an Inspiron 6000D for slightly under $500 not too long ago.
