Need help in Jedi Knight II

Im in that reactor where the energy beems are shooting down the hall and you have to use your speed force to get down the tunnels in time, but Im stuck. In the tunnel where you gotta run down the one tunnel and then you need to hang a right and go down to that central control where you can turn the beem off, am I missing something? I cant make it. I always get killed about halfway down the second tunnel. Any tips?

If your standing in the tunnel with the guy lying on the ground turn around and continue farther down the tunnel you just came out of to a second hallway that will take you to the switch for the beams.

The part with the guy- rest up there and use force speed again to shut the thing off.

If you are where I think you are, that's not the way to go. There is a dead end room with the three machines, and you destroy the machines to blow a hole in the wall so you can go around the back way.
