need help in C# XNA

Ive been trying to create a small 2d game using a tutorial. The tutorial was actually really well made and helpful however i have a problem. right now im creating textures for my sprites using pictures from my folder.

XNA has its own little content pipline but i cant make it show up. When my adding a item to the folder the option isnt given.

Right click on Content and then press add -> existing item to add textures.
