Can't place a name with this guy. He sounds a lot like Led Zepplin. From the 80's, one of his songs goes something like "Now everybody....clap your hands."

He's had a few hits back in the 80s, any ideas? Sorry cant be of more help.

Think the OP is looking for Billy Squire, although Clarence Carter was quite the character.
