By these numbers could you please tell me what this Athlon is? Thanks.

AMD K7700-MTR51B A
210026021141

Is this a Slot A 700mhz Thunderbird. Just wondering because at looking at it through the bottom portion of the Slot interface, it appears to have external L2 Cache chips, which Thunderbirds don't have. So are they right and my eyes are just playing tricks on me or are they wrong

Thanks

Are you sure, if so, damn those idiots. I am going out of town for the weekend so when I get back I can test it for sure. I paid for a Slot A Thunderbird not a regulard. DAMN IT.

You sure you know what you are talking about don't you. There are no such CPUs as SLOT A T-Birds. They are regular Athlons first gen ones... The Thunderbirds are Socket A not Slot A So which one were you talking about? You have just mixed both things into one here! Could you clear it up please.

Thanks,

SKY.

As was mentioned, that is a slot A classic, not a bird.
A slot A T-Bird model # would start with a "A" not a "K", such as "A7700" not "K7700"

micron, SKY2KLAU ... there are OEM slot A T-Birds.
They can be found in speed grades from 650 - 1000

No slot A TBIRDS, what BS. Slot A BIRDS have been sold by the millions. The Socket A Birds came later.

See you people trying to make me think that I am crazy, no slot A T-Birds. Well glad someone else knew what I was talking about. So they did try to dick me over. Stupid F#*(. Guess I will call them tommorrow.

Thanks everyone
