I was watching TV this weekend and some new home builder show was on. They were showing some of the upgrades that they put into their homes and they showed something that I didn't have time to look up then and I am unable to properly use the google to find today.

The item they showed basically looked like a main panel but for water. If memory serves me correctly, it was after the hot water heater and each water using device in the house had it's own dedicated in/out lines so that hot water didn't have to travel through all lines to get to the requesting unit. You also have the capability to turn off water for each device at this panel like you would a particular room via a circuit breaker box.

Try going to the website of the show and see if they have a list of advertisers or something.

I cant find anything either. Maybe its not a product, but something the builder/plumber just do on their own. I am not a plumber, but I dont think it would be too hard. Get a box, drill hole on one side for IN, put pipe through. Put in a series of T shaped splits, put a valve on each T, drill holes in other side for the OUT, and put those pipes through.

Clearly you are not talking about a Weber Grill, I got nothin :(
Sounds like a pretty interesting idea, get the hot water to where you want it faster, possibly more efficiently too ....

Recirculating pumps like lozina mentioned seem to be a much more common way of achieving this (at a slight expense to efficiency, though even more slight if the pipes are well insulated.) Would probably be easier to set up too ...
