need help identifying a car

Coworker asked me if i knew what this was, obviously I don't.

He only saw it from behind. Had a stylized T for a logo in the middle of the trunk lid, script resembling "elisa", tailpipes on the left side, and either a 2.7 or a 3.7.


Ideas?

Convertible, coupe, sedan, pickup truck? I don't think I'd have any idea no matter what, but .. for somebody who might be familiar ... it could help to narrow them down a bit...

Sports car, he thinks it was a coupe but not certain. Had a loud meaty exhaust note. Not particularly a small car, he said it was very roughly the size of his jetta

Also, the T was on a circular badge, he thinks it may have been a bronze color
