ill give you a buck fitty for the whole deal...but you gotta throw in the keyboard and speakers..possibley the desk as well.....after all i AM taking an APPLE off your hands 😛

Call apple support.
youll get to listen to some hip music for about 15 minutes.
you will then be berated, and a barrage of apple acronyms will come out of supports mouth,then finally they will be happy to tell you this repair isnt covered under Applecare but u can send it in for an undetermined amount of time at an undetermined expense for repair.
 
Could you give me a close-up of the particular area of concern? I can't really pull useful detail out of the large image.
