Need Help, I am Unable to Acces My Account

My account name is dfloyd

I have listed a couple items for sale and I was wanting to make sure my profile was up to date.

I noticed that the email address was one I do not use anymore so I went and tried to update my email address.

When I did so I was logged out and told that:

Hello Daniel,

You have changed your email address. The system has generated a new password for you. You may update your new password under your profile options.

Below is the information that you will need to login to the forums.

Username: dfloyd
Password: XXXXXXX
E-Mail Address: dravun@gmail.com


Now I tried to login and could not. So I requested that a new password be generated and sent to me. I never got it. I am not sure whats going on. Is it sending the new password to my old account? dizzy@mchsi.com? If so there is no way for me to check it.

Can someone please help.

Nope it was not mistyped friend as I got a message at my email address.

Its more like when I went back to login it messed up some how.
The above post below Hello Daniel, was the email that they sent me. But I cant login and I am not recieving any updated passwords. I am gessing they are being sent to the old email address, but cant get there to check. So going to keep hoping.

Hmm hoping the reason I am not hearing anything is because of the weekend.

Hopefully I will hear something soon froma mod. Is this the way they are supposed to be contacted? Or is there another format I should pursue?

Edit: Even worse, now I have people sending pms to my correct account asking questions on items I am selling. Yet no way to log in and check them. Why do I have such bad luck with changing my email address. I had the same problems when I tried changing my email address at heatware. And that took four months to get fixed

Yeah I hope a mod can reset it Durocshark. At least to the old password, the one its been since I joined Anandtech. Or at least look at the account and see that I changed the email address but it is not recognizing it. Do you have any idea how I can pm a mod or any other way to get in touch with them?

Thanks again for advice all.

I have sent a PM to the Mod and sent a reply email to the email that was sent to me the first time around (The one that was supposed to be confirming that my email address had changed).

Guessing it will probably be Mon, maybe Tues before (labor day) they get back into the office.

Hopefully sooner as its kind of wierd setting up deals on my other account but having to follow through with them on this account.
