Is the cousin hot?

You could probably charge based on what type of tutoring. Is it basic how to use windows tutoring or how to use a particular app. If it is the latter, you could probably charge more. Take a look at what computer classes cost in your area, then take a little off of those prices, considering they are reasonable.

10-20 bucks per hour is what i would say (for a co-worker)

but if you're a nice guy, aim more towards 10 - 15. doubt i could personally ask for more than that if it was someone related to a guy i worked with

20 bucks sound resonable for me since she is not hot. I don't think that is too high.

The way I read this is that you have both agreed to the tutoring prior to agreeing on the price? I hope she is not assuming it is free.

Tell her 50 an hour, if she doesn't blink, go with that.

If she has a fit, tell her you were trying to break the ice a little with an obvious joke and that your real price is 15 or 20.
