I have a WD 1gig IDE that shows up in windows as a 1.94mb HD. I did a full reformat and even deleted the partion and redone it. I noticed when setting the partion it had non-dos=1024mbs which would be 1gig and primary-dos as 2mb.

Well I tried deleteing the non-dos but wouldnt let me so I decided to delete the primary instead but it did nothing.

Anyone know how to delete the non-dos partion I dont know how it even got there.

Thanks

Follow the instructions on the M$ url site above. It works good. Cleans things up nicely.

Boot to DOS and type "debug"

at the "-" type "A 100"

at "nnnn:0100" type "INT 13"

and continue on....
