priority will be pretty expensive, it starts at like 3.98 but then they factor weight and where its going i think.

but only other option is first class, which is just as fast as media mail i think

Expedited Shipping Methods should provide a 2-8 day delivery window and include some type of tracking ability. Examples of this type of Expedited service include:

*

*

*

Half.com recognizes that recent changes in the shipping industry have created different pricing zones. We encourage all sellers to investigate the different shipping methods that comply with the 2-8 day delivery policy and use the one that is most cost effective for the shipment.

Half.com will reimburse according to the following chart:

Hardcover Books

Media Mail
$2.78 for first item

$1.06 for each additional item

Expedited
$5.04 for the first item

Paperback Book

Media Mail
$2.40 for the first item

$0.85 for each additional item

Expedited

how do I get the expedited method? tell the clerk?

2-8 day delivery, read the chart. Any of those shippers qualify. It would be either usps priority mail, fedex or ups ground, dhl/airborne ground service. Personally, 5lbs might be cheaper with fedex/ups then priority. Plug in you data into the usps calculator, & then try the other sites.

You just ship it priority, it's $7.70 for a flat rate box, or $3.85 if you can fit it in a flat rate envelope.

Don't forget the new rates! Grrrrr...
