Need Help: Ghost image from server to PC w/ USB NIC

I have a panasonic U1 UMPC. With our other laptops, we backup an image from the PC and save it to a server. We then use Symantec Ghost Suite to push the image back to the PC in the event of a hard drive replacement, ect./

The thing about the U1 is that for the Ethernet, the only plug in they have is via a USB to Ethernet adapter.

I am used to creating Ghost boot disks that utilize an NDIS2 .dos driver. No such thing is available for this beast (or any USB to Ethernet device I have found)

Any thoughts on how I can make this work??

9/10 times you just need to upgrade to a version of ghost that runs on windows PE. Use the ghost utility to install the windows driver. NDIS2 dos drivers are getting very hard if not impossible to find for many models of cards.

Or you could change to Acronis True Image?

Or pretty much any imaging tool that runs off of Linux...

Or image the drive in some other computer and then install the drive in the UMPC.
