I've tried installing this card on 2 different machines.

One machine is a Dell 9100 and the other is a Dell 5160

Does it look like I hooked it up correctly?

The laptops will boot up fine and detect the hardware. I have tried drivers made specifically for the WI-01HT and I have also tried Atheros drivers from WildPackets.

The problem is that windows says "No wireless networks were found in range"

I've even put the laptop directly next to the antenna but it still doesnt see it.

Any ideas??? Thanks!

Is Wireless enabled on these Dell's? Check the bios(es) to make sure it's enabled. Also, there should be function keys that enable/disable wireless, like (for example, not sure if this is the right one) fn + f2.

Slikkster, THANKS!!!

I went into the BIOS and even though the miniPCI was "Enabled," the "Wireless" was set to "Off."

I turned it on and everything is working now. Thank you! :)

Don't forget to hook up the internal mini-pci antennas for optimal range and performance.
