Need help getting rid of virus

As sad above, somehow I got this pesky little virus. I suspect some stupid friends were trying to download things they shouldn't have. Anyways, this thing is a real pain. Anything with the word "virus" in it gets closed out. In fact, I have to type this message on another computer because I couldn't type anything with that word. This of course means most of my anti-virus software doesn't work. Also, it keeps interrupting AIM by putting up an away message that links to what I can only assume is another way to spread the virus. As far as I can tell, this thing is called the MaNiXBot 2.0

Any help?
