Omg! dis is getting annoying! I think it's an adware! but I don't know how to remove it.. it pop every 10-45 min.. I hate it when I'm playing a game that take up the whole screen and it pop up and it's take me to window desktop. I would have to restart the whole game, sometime it would freeze on me, or I lost sound for the game. It's just popup randonly, something it would pop up more than 50 in 1 day. I one time left my pc the whole night and in the morning, I had to exit over 25 popup. I dunno if I am the only who getting this popup but my friend do also. I have no idea! where I got this popup. However, I try reinstall my window and it popup again.

Please someone help get rid of this...

Here an example of the popup:

TO: my ip address
from: advertising website or email

blah blah blah.....

same happened on a laptop i got; ran ad-aware6 and it identified and removed a dialer that was being a nuisance and tadaaaa - problem gone

Those are NOT MSN/Windows Messenger popup ads, they are a part of Windows Messaging System.

It is a sign that your computer is visible to the outside world, and that they can get to your computer.

The "quick fix" is to go to Computer Management, and Services, and disable the "Messenger" service.

That will stop them popping up, however it won't prevent your computer being access by outside.

Get a decent firewall, either hardware or software, and you will be able to stop them, and any other access attempts to your system.
