need help getting outlook file imported!!UPDATE

I have an real old comp with a HD from 95

I go to turn it back on an I get "missing ntldr"


I was running winxp

I really need to get back my files from outlook express (folders,messages). How can i do this?
I put the HD in my other computer an i can access it.
?But if i could get the hd to boot i could export to my other comp?

So my only answer I can think of is
1.either fix the booting problem(missing ntldr)
2.find a way to get the files

If i took the register from the old hd an copied it to my register would my outlook have my old messages?

please bump atleast i need my files!!

I got the drive to boot i see all my messages

Now when i go to export i get an error reading"The export can not be performed. An error occurred while initializing MAPI"

how do I go about exporting my message setting now???

Why don't you just slave the drive to an existing the computer and copy what you need?

Your MAPI32.DLL or MAPI.DLL files may have become corrupted.

You can try running FIXMAPI.EXE, located in the Windows\Sytem32 directory.

Just double-click on it. It will run and close. Then try exporting.
