Need help getting out a stripped screw.

The screws on my front license plate are stripped and will not come out. Any suggestions on getting them out? I'm particularly looking for someone who's faced the same situation before. Thanks.

Get a dremel and cut a slot in it and back it out with a flat headed screwdriver.

Dremel a slot, use a straight screwdriver.

There's a bit you can buy that'll take stripped screws out.

If the screwheads are exposed, use a pair of vice-grips to clamp the screw head on it's rim, then unscrew it like you would use a socket wrench on a nut.

Dremels are expensive. Is the head of the screw exposed. Enough so that you can get a pair of vice grips on them? If they are...get vice grips, crimp down on that bitch hard, and turn that mother out. Works every time..you'll need a new screw though, but you most likely would of needed one anyway.
