I just received an x800gto from newegg to upgrade my 9800 pro which artifacts badly, it was an open box that i got for 85$. Very OEM, only came with the card.
I put it in my board, connected the power/monitor and it'll just sit there without POSTing. I tried reseating it 5 times with the same result. Could it possibly be any setting in my bios i need to tune before getting it to work? I know it was an open box but i thought theres some kind of testing process that newegg or a contractor uses to make sure i dont get a DOA board.
sys specs:
asus p4c800-e mb
p4c 2.6 northwood
antec 380w "true S"
