I have an Iwill K266-R.

Ok I just built my first sytem about a month ago. I haven't needed to use the USB ports until now but they seem not to be getting power. IF you need more info tell me. As far as I know I plugged them in correctly but I could be wrong.

I am not intimately familiar with your board, so this is the generic answer. If the USB ports are right off the MB; IE- they are right on the backplane and you did not attach something to have usb; make sure that usb support is enabled in the BIOS. (you may have to enable "legacy" usb support to make it work)

If your USB port are on a header that you plugged in to the motherboard, double check with the manual to make certain that they are not on backwards. If you can't tell, you can switch them.

Either way, your operating system should display them as "USB root hub" or something similar when they are properly plugged in and enabled. If your O/S shows that and you still can't get them to work, try the "enable legacy usb support" in the BIOS. If after all that they STILL don't work, you most likely have a problem with your USB device. (Drivers, hardware, or you just aren't holding your tongue right... )
