I downloaded the latest drivers for highpoint udma66 controller for win2000.
I would install the controller, but the win2000 does not like the drivers..
I would appreciate any help in this matter..

Did you install the new drivers from a floppy? Device Manager\PCI controllers\update driver. I have almost the same system and they work
fine for me. I have my SBlive card in Slot 4 and my Network card in Slot2.
BTW you have to install the drivers for each channel. One thing I learned
early was that win2000 wouldnt install on the Ultra Dma channel.

Did you un unzip the file to a location and then point to the location when prompted for them ?
Get the latest version here ->ATA 66 DRIVERS
Just unzip the files to a location and then upgrade

I downloaded the latest version.
When I enabled the udma66 controller, the win2000 recognized it as storage controller. I pointed to the location of where the driver is located, first it says that it cannot find the correct drivers. So I manually went through add hardware and installed the drivers. I rebooted, but it says that the device is not enabled, because of something with the drivers. It worked fine in win98. I also have NIC on SLot2 and Sblive on slot 4.

In the Device Manager under SCSI AND RAID CONTROLLERS I have two entries
Highpoint UDMA366 controllers. Check and see if that is what yours looks
like. Also you enabled the ultra dma controller in the bios right. If thats done you should be able to go into device manager and rt click the
PCI Controllers select properties and upgrade the drivers to the highpoint.

If I remember right they (the pci controllers should have a yellow question mark on both of them)
