So I've been helping a friend upgrade his computer by adding on the below hardware:
Motherboard: GA-78LMT-USB3
CPU: AMD FX8350
RAM: Corsair XMS3 (DDR3)
Graphics card: GeForce 9500 GT (from before the upgrade)

There's no buzzer visible on the motherboard, but if there is, I haven't heard any beeps regardless of how I boot it (with/without graphics card, RAM in different slots, no RAM).
Similarly, there's no monitor output whatsoever with the card connected (the card and monitor work; they were used in his old setup). The fans run, I don't see any red lights anywhere inside, and that's about it.

Suggestions for getting this to POST?

You say you 'upgraded' his computer, did you use the old hard drive & OS?
You can also get a small mobo speaker, t for about $5, the beep code can tell whats wrong.

If I am reading their site correctly, that board needs BIOS F3 to support that CPU. That board could have shipped with F1.

Also, have you tried taking out the video card and just running on the integrated video?
