I went ahead and signed up for a month of Disney Plus, mostly so that we could watch the latest Star Wars movie, Frozen 2, the Mandalorian, and a couple of other shows. It was actually cheaper than renting 2 of the movies on Google Play.
Trouble is, I can't seem to install the Disney+ app on our Android box that I have hooked up to our TV. This isn't a totally new issue for me, since I previously had to sideload Hulu when we had that, and I sideloaded Netflix, which works fine.
The Google Play store simply doesn't show the app for my device, which is a "EM95X" branded box.
I've searched far and wide for a working Disney+ apk file, (spent over an hour and a half searching, downloading and trying to install, in fact) but have come away empty handed.
We have tried making Chrome act like a desktop, but performance lags quite a bit, locks up at times, and once in a while when we try to make it full screen we end up staring at a green screen with pixellations.
Can anyone point me to a working apk for Disney+ ? My whole family thanks you in advance for the help!
