I just got a new PC, which has an M.2 SSD with Win 10, a 2Tb HDD with media, and they are working fine. I just connected a 256Gb SSD that was previously my main drive in a Mac mini. It has not been formatted or changed from then, I just pulled it from that system and plugged it in the PC.

In Disk Management, the drive is there, but when I right click it won't let me choose Format (grayed out). There were 3 partitions, but as part of my trying to fix the situation I deleted 2, so now there's just the one. It's listed as "Healthy (EFI System Partition).

I want to wipe the drive and reformat it so I can store some games on it. How do I do this? I've Googled around but haven't found anything that works yet.

Thanks!

Look in to using DISKPART.EXE and CLEAN. Warning: You can royally erase your disks with no hope of data-recovery if you use te commands incorrectly.

Get the software from the SSDs site,it usually has tools to deal with this stuff just do a wipe which will clean it completely.
