"Coldbug"? I have a 100w X2 4400+ I'm working on....(currently 9x275MHz 6+ hrs Orthos), CCB2E 0606 stepping.

What's this 'coldbug' and what does it effect?

your mem controller is rev. 2. the 4th number represents the memcontroller revision.

the best running opterons were the CCB1E but they had a hardcore coldbug meaning they wouldn't work with subzero temperatures.

however they were good enough to get up to 3.1 on just water or even high end cooling.

for whatever reason, the newer mem controller revisions seem to not like being cold.

usually your computer won't boot up or just act flakey when put under cooling such as cascade, single stage, dry ice, liquid nitrogen, etc...
