Need help: get rid of spam fax

Hi,

Spam fax is more annoying than telemarketing. It consumes my thermal paper a lot.
Now my phone line have been heavily bombarded by spam faxes.
Does anyone know how to fight it?
Is there a law that can help me? I am in Pennsylvania.

Update:
I have my phone number on the no-call list. I don't get telemarketing calls.
www.junkfax.org is good, thanks
It turns out that all faxes I got are from fax.com
To fight them, I have to dedicate my time to it, but I have to work 🙁

Fax them back a picture of your bare ass

Regarding laws, I'm not sure, sorry. But you might want to invest in a plain paper fax - they run <$100 nowadays

yep, can't you get your number on a no-call list? is that included?

We get them all the time. I love the ones where someone wrote something like, "Hey Jenny, here's that weight loss plan you've been hearing more about." Another favorite, "Need more paper and toner for your fax machine?" Got a lot of Disneyworld vacations too. I did look into it this is what I found

arrgh yes those are extremely lame. we used to get that a lot... advertisers these days are getting very obnoxious.

what's cheaper, thermal paper, or regular paper + ink?

There are very few plain paper faxes using regular ink now with the exception of the HP and Brother multifunction machines. The majority (I'd be willing to say 85%) still use film instead of ink, the same film in the thermal paper faxes. A couple reams of 20lb/84 brightness costs as much as 6 rolls of 198' fax paper. Not even thermal fax rolls, but normal fax rolls. And it's called convenience and speed and staying up with the times. Dot matrix printers are outdated and now no longer used, it's only a matter of time for thermal paper faxes and in the same respect, ones that use film instead of ink cartridges.

wow.... how do I get these people to start faxing me... I could spend my entire summer in small claims court making lots of money!
