Ok, here is my problem my friend has a Gateway P3 450 that I am trying to help him overclock, but without success. The Intel motherboard has not one but two ICS chips on it. I know one of these chips is the clock generator but I can't get SoftFSB from H. Oda to work with either one of them. The chip id's are 9248BF-20 and 9179BF-01 with the 9179BF-01 being closest to the BX chipset. Does anyone know of a better oc'ing program that I might be able to use? If someone has a Gateway and is overclocking it would they please help me! Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a solution..... pull out the Gateway motherboard.... go down to the local computer store, and pick yourself up a new Asus or Abit.. or anything Besides what is in there now....

problem SOLVED!! 🙂
