I just gave them a call to do a pricematch on my order for a laptop.
The first representative put me on hold for over 10 or 15 min so I got pissed and redialed it again.
2nd guy didn't know much about the price match policy so I was referred to a supervisor. The supervisor said she couldn't pricematch the order and gave me some excuse, but ultimately it came down to she could not touch the order at all as it is a special order. However having seen an item that is a special order I know this one ISN'T a special order.
It has no blue S box beside it. The supervisor said an item that has a 3 day delivery is considered a special order, because it isn't instock at the time. But on their webpage right now it does say 3 day delivery and availability IN STOCK!
She then found a paragraph that stated what a special order is and guess what, it doesn't say anything about a 3 day delivery or out of stock item.

Anyways I just wanted to ask an office depot employee if this is true that even supervisors cannot touch an order that is considered a special order.

Tomorrow I will be calling up Office Depot corporate as today it let me back to 1800GoDepot. Also if anyone can show me which Office Depot I should select as BBB.com for this www.officedepot.com online order, that would be great.
