Sorry for the two posts at once, I'm hoping to get some very quick input and needed to grab P180 owners' attention. This is in regards to http://forums.anandtech.com/me...=2137158&enterthread=y

First, has anyone used an 8800GTX in this case? I want to make sure it will fit.

Second, my power supply has a large fan that blows out of the bottom. Since the P180 cases have the PSU mounted at the bottom, I'm worried it won't have enough space to vent. Has anyone had a problem with this?

Thank you.

yes the GTX will fit it will even fit with the optional fan on the HDD cage

and according to antec the the fan suppose to face the bottom so the hot air doesn't rise up

What power supply do you have that blows air out of the bottom? I'm pretty sure that is an INTAKE fan and it blows out of the rear of the power supply, where the power cord plugs in.

I have a P180 and a power supply with a 120mm intake fan. I have it mounted in the bottom where it's supposed to be. There's about 3/4" of space underneath the power supply so it can pull in cool air. It works perfectly, no worries.

The 8800GTX will fit just fine but you might not be able to put a hard drive in the bottom position of that upper drive cage. The power connector on the graphics card will probably encroach on the space that the hard drive would occupy. No problem though; just use the 4 HD bays in the lower half of the case.

Thanks guys.

Yeah, I forgot it's an intake fan. Nice way to reduce noise, but it can be a pain to make it work with some cases. I'm glad to hear there's a gap at the bottom.
