Need help from Los Angeles residents...

Can you tell me anything about the area around 725 S Bixel St, Los Angeles, CA 90017?

Anything about the neighborhood or "feel" of the area would be great.

hM.... you sound like you live in the rich apartments? I work at garland and 7th street.
in the day time, it's okay, but at night it's WHACK. haha. I saw a hot prostitute yesterday night though. hmm... maybe she wasn't a prostitute.

I just looked it up on the map. You're pretty close to Figueroa which is a good thing. The further away you go, the more ghetto it is.

Is this a house or apartment? If apartment, what is the name of the complex?

It's called Medici. Some suspicious people may have been living there at one point. Is the area known for prostitution by any chance?

LOL, true that on the nightlife. 😉

The Medici is nice if you have the bucks to rent there. The same developer has been building several similar 'Italian-esque' complexes (Piero, Orsini, Visconti, etc.) lately in the area if you're priced out of the Medici, or prefer a slightly different location/surroundings. Yeah, that area was very run-down and seedy even in the day not very long ago thanks to years of neglect. It's come a long way in that respect and with all the redevelopment and construction happening and upper middle-class people moving into the 'hood, it's got nowhere to go but up.
