I just switched to firefox, but am having a small issue. When using a site like packetnews.com, on IE i was able to click a link and launch mirc, along with copying a particular phrase to my clipboard (ie a bot command), so I could easily paste the phrase into an mirc window. Now with firefox, it will automatically launch mirc when the links are selected, but will not copy the phrase to the clipboard. Is there a way to do this?

You'd have better results going to either the User Support Forum or the Mozilla Firebird Help area; both of which are listed near the top/left side of your browser.
I don't have your answer but have had really good luck with the users forum before.

I just did a bit of looking around and if you open the browser and click on Tools, then Exxtensions and "Get more Extensions", you'll be directed to a page full of good utilities. One of them is called AutoCopy. It sounds like it will suit your needs. Good Luck.

Thanks for the help buz. I tried auto copy and it didnt do exactly what I needed, so i jumped over to those support forums and, sure enough, I wasn't the only one to encounter this problem. It was a very easy fix. Thx again

Go into your config by typing "about:config" in your url address bar. Then toggle the value of "signed.applets.codebase_principal_support" to true, and you'll be good to go.
