need help for combining win98 and 2000

hello...
I want to do a peer to peer network betwen computers.
I'm using win2K, and the other computer is using win98se.
we use ethernet card, and ethernet hub to share the connection.

when the comp with 98 tried to access my comp, ther was a dialog box asking for password.
I dunno how to set a password for a share folder in win2K.

does anybody hav any idea?

This has been addressed several times.

In order to access shares on the 2k machine from the 98 machine without typing in a password, you need to do one of two things.

1. Create a user account on the Windows 2000 machine that matches exactly the name and password of the login account on the Win 98
2. Enable your guest account, which is disabled by default. This will allow anonymous login.
