I am building my new computer !

I want it Expandable. For that reason i go with amd 939 socket... for now i will buy venice 3000+... later i will go with a more powerfull proc! (Too expansive for th moment)

I will go with asus 6600gt for my computer (best price value)

I have problem with chosing my motherboard

Notes :
--> I need Firefire capability (1 front, 1 back)
--> I DONT need SLI
--> I will never overclock my system
--> I was interested by Nforce 4 ultra chip

I have this choice :

1) ASUS A8N-SLI NF4 PCIE 195.00$ CAD
2) MSI K8N NEO4 PLATINUM NF4 PCIE 185$ CAD
3) DFI LANPARTY UT NF4 ULTRA-D PCIE 189$ CAD

there are all in the same price range...

I was thinking buying Asus A8N-SLI for the reputation and usability... i can't go with non-sli because the a8n-e do not have firewire port
the Msi was interesting ... but many person seem have problem with it
the dfi lanparty seem very complex mobo for no overcloking

If you have other suggestion or advice... i need them

Thanks

If you get the Asus one, you really ought to get the Premium version, it is significantly better than the Deluxe and Regular versions (which are quite buggy)

There are only two options. MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum and the DFI ultra-D.
The MSI is for the normal user who wants loads of features, like dual Gigabit LAN and a mild overclocking experience.
The DFI is for those who are deeply in the overclocking hole. :)
