OK... I dont know the formulas I need for this. Its easy stuff I just need to figure it out asap...

You got a stone 40 thousand pounds on one end of a lever. On the other end is a tree 40 Feet long and the Fulcrum is 2 ft from the stone. So how many 150 Ib objects would it take on the other side to to life the stone.

I will assume that the tree is the lever. 14.03 150 lb objects will balance it, so I'll say it takes 15 to lift it. Of course this assumes that all the objects can be stacked at the exact end of the lever.

How do you figure? What formula did you use? Im sure its got something to do with the fulcrum but I have no clue what. And yes I think the tree is the lever. Not positive though, but what else could it be? heh
