Hi, i'm thinking i need to update the bios for the Epox8K7A mobo and so i downloaded the latest bios update from the Epox website. I then extracted the files and tried to copy the files to my bootable disk and there's not enough space! How's that possible? All i have is a regular floppy drive (1.44) and the winME startup disk files can't all fit with the bios files. Is there another way or am i missing something?

Hey, here's something you could try instead.

Extract all the files from the downloaded BIOS update onto a floppy (no need for any boot disk files), and reboot.

At the post screen, hit ALT-F2, and AwardFlash should start automatically off the floppy.

It will flash the BIOS and reboot automatically too.

Or just put the bios and flash utility on a SECOND floppy disk.

then boot off the winME startup....then put in the second floppy and flash away

I just flashed mine the other day and that's exactly what I did.
