I have an Asus Cusl2-c Mobo Socket 370 with a P III 1 gig chip in it. I need to flash the mobo to the latest update but what they have listed is very confusing. Can some one help me out here. I think Tominator had links to the right updates a while back.

Guys,

I hope you don't mind me asking here but I have a problem with the OC on this board. I have a 750 chip that I know will OC in an abit board, but will not on this board. It will go throgh the memory test but that's about it. You think I should flash my bios to see if this will help? Thanks for any comments.

Scott,

Try here

1009 is the latest final bios

1104 is the latest beta bios

I'm running the 1104 and it works well.

FlyGuy, you speak of a known issue in regards to overclocking on a cusl2-c. Your processor chip must be able to post at the overclocked speed at the cpu's default core voltage(Vcore.) Flashing your bios will not help. The Vcore settings that are set in the bios soft setup add the extra couple of tenths of a volt after post is successful. There is something called "the wire trick" that may work for you. This involves using a thin gauge wire to connect two pins on the 370 socket to fool the motherboard into thinking that the cpu's default Vcore is higher than it really is. This is not for the faint of heart and is somewhat dependant on the stepping of the chip. I've got a link with more info at home. If you need it shoot me a PM.
