Can anyone help me flash an 8800 Ultra bios? I am a little unclear on how to do it. Last GPU I flashed was an X800GTO that I flashed to unlock extra shaders or whatever. Like PM me some step by step instructions. The card is showing artifacts and will not hold graphics drivers within windows but has no heating issues and Evga will not do anything for it. So last try at helping it is flashing. I have the bios I would like to try (couple of them actually, one for the KO, one for the SC, and stock) but have no clue how to do the rest. Thing to note is I do not have a floppy drive so it would have to be another way. Thanks for any help.

Flashing a dying card is not going to do anything to it. Heck, flashing it in that state might even brick the card. Throw it in the oven.

Exactly, nothing left to do but flash it. I could care less if it bricks as the waterblock on it is worth more than I paid for the card anyways. I just want to know how so I at least do it right. Should be very simple for someone to lend a helping hand instead of say "it won't help anyways" ;)

It really won't help & the oven is probably a better solution. But since you want to know how, nvflash & nhibitor are the progs u want

Maybe not, but at least I will learn how to do it anyways. LoL Certainly can't make it any worse. ;)

I did. Went back and forth with them through about 8 emails. But because I didn't register the card within 30 days of purchase it was only a year. Sad, pretty much the only company I have never got an RMA from without any hassle at all.

Seriously though, isn't the oven trick the real 'last resort' for a dying card?
