I'm trying to find an article I saw on wired's site a while ago (would be useful for something I'm doing for a class...I think). I've been trying to search the site for some time now, but I can't seem to find the right search terms. So I was wondering if anyone else had seen it and could point me in the right direction.
The article was about digital cameras and other media technologies and the standards & naming issues they've created...i.e. how may different DSC001.jpg files there are in the world.
wish I could recall when or how I came across this...
any help?
