It was being shown on the monitor wall at CompUSA..

Anyways, the scene I saw was like a long long fight scene with some older dude. The older guy beats him, and he says Jet Li needs to learn to adapt and what not to become the best. Then says something about some general he's gonna fight. They seem like friends really..

Anyone know the title of the movie? :\

I know this. It's called Fist of Legend. It seems like The Matrix got a lot of scenes from this movie (especially in the subway scene). IIRC, it was a remake of a Bruce Lee movie.

If possible, go to a Chinese video store and rent the Chinese version. It has english and chinese subtitles, but the vocal track is either in Mandarin or Cantonese. The DVD version is dubbed in english and is HORRIBLE.
This is the best Jet Li movie and possibly the best martial arts movie ever. So do yourself a favor and watch it asap :)

Really? Better than the Once Upon a Time series? I'd even put Tai Chi Master above Fist of Legend action-wise...

Tai Chi Master has the best group fighting scenes. Jet Li was wasting Ching soldiers left and right.

Fist of Legend is vastly superior to Tai Chi Master. TCM just had too many wires. Fist of Legend is a much better showcase of Jet Li's talents. Any moron can fly around and kick butt while hanging by a wire.

the Once Upon a Time in China series is good too, though not as good IMHO as Fist of Legend (my favorite Jet Li flick as well)

I didn't like this one too much. It seemed kinda boring...

I thought OUATIC was a lot better (his best IMO).

Personally I prefer Fist of Legend. The fight scenes just seem to be tighter and better choreographed. The Once Upon a Time Series has *too* much stuff going on at once sometimes.

Fist of Legend had the best one to one fight scenes, especially Jet Li's fight with the old master and the general at the end. Awesome stuff...
