Need help finding the original author of an image

So I wanted to have this image blown up to poster size for a friend for Christmas. I place the order and such, no problems. They create my poster, then ask me to come pick it up. When I get there, the guy asks me to wait, and comes back with a manager. He tells me that unless I have permission of the original copyright holder, they can't give me the poster.

I'm under the impression that this is just a simple photoshop, but I could be wrong.

Here's a copy of the pic (my host is down ATM):

Anybody know who/where this image is from? Or even better, if a poster of it is already available somewhere, as that would probably be easier and cheaper at this point?

Huge thanks to any help here...

Just say you made it in photoshop.

I think I already made it pretty clear to the manager that I wasn't the author, I definitely wasn't thinking ahead.

I suppose I could have a friend write a note giving permission... it's not like there's any names on the image

If you haven't paid yet..just send it to another Kinkos and do it again. If you have paid..demand money back for lack of product and go to another Kinkos.

Get your money back from the first Kinko's, and take it to another. Or you could always take it to Office Depot. Those mindless highschoolers that work there won't give a sh!t.

Good call on taking it elsewhere. I wish I could've seen the final product though, I'm worried about how distorted it will get - anybody know what kind of touchups these places will do to keep it from getting disgustingly blurry?

Go to another kinkos or another copy place and tell them you are the author who made it in photoshop.
