need help finding sound card with optical in

I essentially want to turn my PC into a receiver of sorts. I've got things like a g930 wireless headset I can't use with my xbox, but I've read that people have been able to pipe the sound to their PC for playback. Anyone know an effective way of doing this i.e. what hardware is required? I believe I need a sound card with an optical input, but if there is something else that will do it I'm open to suggestions.

Ideally the setup would let me connect a bunch of devices to my PC like xbox, ps3, etc... and let me connect my pc to my actual receiver via optical out (my receiver is old so it doesn't take hdmi).

I had nothing but headaches when I tried doing this so I just bought an Onkyo receiver and analog headset and routed everything through the receiver and then to my monitor.
