I need to find a slot 1 (p2) motherboard brackets (the thing that secures the cpu to the motherboard). I had an old c300a so all I have is the celeron bracket holder (the non convertible type). When I get this I will be able to run my celery 900 full time for RC5 or gamma :), which is important of course to help slash the /.s of course

You mean the black plastic thingy ? I have one spare, but i'm wondering why you need it for a celery 900 (presumably oc'd) when celerys are socket 370 ? If u r in UK, i'll post it to ya :) Just read your profile and u r in US, so sorry :( - too much to post it at the moment :( Maybe when i get ajob :)

yeah the black plastic thingy. I got a slotket that needs the p2 type instead of the celeron type. and of course it is an overclocked celery.

UmbrAC,

I'm up to my ass in retention brackets, but that "or gamma" thing bothers me.:)

Russ,

I could really use a pair of those brackets to hold a retail 300a on a Gigabyte board (that cracks rc5 24/7 at 450Mhz)! Send me email and we'll work something out.

Thanks!

Ok Russ,
how about I promise if you retention brackets will only be used for cracking RC5 :)
