Hi I am just wondering if there are crappier video cards than a matrox millenium 2mb pci???? if there are please give me a name I would appreciate it. By the way i am playing a practical joke on my friend.

S3 Virge, Trident 8900, Quadtel EGA/VGA, Western Digital Paradise.

A Matrox Millennium 2 MB PCI is far from a crappy card btw. Makes great video adapter for a server because it is very compatible.

Cheers!

I used to have a SiS 6215C PCI 1 MB card on my P1 133 processor based PC - the first video card on my first computer. Looking back at this card, I can tell you it was is suck!

What are you guys talking about? S3 Virge??? That thing rocks!
My first video card was on an ISA/VLB Western Digital IO controller.
Parallel, Serial, Video, IDE all on one board. I think it had 128k of Video RAM. Mobos still have ISA slots!

hehehehe

Some of those old Cirrus Logic PCI chipset cards were really slow junk. Or how about the Tseng ET4000W32P?

As far as old PCI video chipsets are concerned, the Matrox Millenium II was actually quite good. Most PCI video chipsets of the same period are probably inferior.

Trident Video 57P. That was a pretty poor video card. A whole 1MB of video memory. I'd suggest and old XGA2 card, but they are only bad compared to new cards, in their day they were very nice.
