Need help finding old C64 or early PC game

Hey all! I have been reminscing about a game I used to play either on the C64 (or maybe even 128) or early PC. It was a top-down fantasy, barbarian-themed game. There was the ability to go indoors and there would be a load-out of the interior of the house, castle, dungeon, etc. I'm thinking I played this sometime around 1990 - 1991 timeframe...maybe even a tad earlier in '89.

I think it may have even had rights to the Conan name but cannot, for the life of me, remember the name or even a better description of the game.

Old-school gamers unite and help me out!! LOL.

Hmm...looks familiar...one of the things that really sticks out in my head is that you could get an axe that you could throw and it would return to you.

I may get the C64 emulator and see if this game is the one.

Any other suggestions?

It was a Conan game. I forget the exact name, I still have the floppies somewhere. The characters were pretty big if I recall. Think it was conquest of conan or something like that. Pretty decent graphics for the day.

There was a game called Conan the Cimmerian released for Amiga and PC back in the early 90s. That may be what you're thinking of
