Need help finding Nice/Cheap Vid card...

I need a video card for around $150.... I want to try the Geforce line since I have always stuck with ATI. It can go a little above 150, but not too much. Anyone have any ideas?

$150?

If you want to try out a Geforce4, the only kind you can get for that price (other than the MX) is a 64MB Ti4200.

Though, if you want to stick with ATi, I would suggest a Retail Radeon 8500 128mb...

I was looking at the VGA EVGA|GF4 TI4200 128M with VIVO/TV out RETAIL BOX for $176 or the...
GAINWARD/CARDEXPERT GeForce 4 Ti 4200, 4ns, 128MB DDR for $173.....

what's my best bet between those 2? or neither =)

(I have a Radeon 8500 128 meg, and even though it is godly, still like trying new things.... so when I critisize people about buying Geforces, I have the info to back myself up)

If you need VIVO, then go with the evga, if you don't need it, I'd go with the Gainward.

Though, I suggest, since your Budget has increased, I would invest in a Ti4400.... all of them come equiped with 128mb 3.6ns ram..

Which overclocks alot better than the 4ns ram used on the 128mb ti4200s...
