Need help finding just the right thing to wreck my FJ

There is a road out there that has one small problem, a large outcrop of just the right shape to block my FJ. Once past the outcrop the road is good for many more miles. I tried to crawl over the outcrop and concluded that unless I develop a taste for the bumperless look, geometry and physics have conspired to keep me a pedestrian.

A light bulb came on (dim as it might be) that I might be able to ramp over the outcrop using well, ramps. The trouble is finding a set of ramps that can support the weight of the FJ (~5000lb), ~10ft long, and are light enough to carry on the roof rack (<150lb), light enough to be lifted by yours truly, and not too expensive.

Another choice is to break out the shovel and bury the outcrop. This tends to annoy folks who like obstacles and would require many an hour of labor. I might even sweat.

Anyway, if anyone has a lead on where to obtain such ramps I would be appreciative and vow that if I should ever have an opportunity to put this plan into action that a youtube video would be de rigueur.

Crowbar, sledge, wedge, shovel and winch. Construction putty if you have the skillset 🙂

Destroy the outcrop or build a ramp of rocks

They're called "sand ladders"

sand ladders are not generally built for bridging. I have maxtrax and they work when stacked. a real bridging ladder is what you are looking for.

I would go with stacking rocks and dirt myself. It may take more time, but is going to work out better. got any pics of the rocks?

I was out riding my ATV by myself one day. A tree was blocking the trail and there was no way to go around it and too far to go back. I crossed it by stacking branches and rocks on both sides of it then climbed over.

Looks like this is going to be the solution. I rented a UTV and tried to get over the outcrop this morning. Still no go. Just not enough room to maneuver to get lined up with the two potential lines of approach.
